Head coach Lindy Ruff mentioned that Brendan Smith would be evaluated for a leg injury 

Smith will be out for a while with a sprained knee, as revealed by Ruff on Wednesday

 before the team's game against the Montreal Canadiens.

Part one went out, and part two is now back. "At least we get something back, 

even though I don't like the trade," Ruff remarked.
