Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment. When the oven is hot, spread the dry cake mix on the baking sheet
bake for 5 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack after removing from the oven.
While the cake mix cools, beat the softened cream cheese in a medium bowl with a hand mixer on medium-high speed until smooth.
Mix the chilled cake mix with the cream cheese in the bowl with a rubber spatula and cream cheese mixture form dough.
Cover two baking sheets with parchment paper and use a 1 ½ tablespoon cookie scoop to scoop the chilled dough onto the sheets.
Roll each into smooth, even balls with your palms. Wait 15 minutes for them to expand.
Place the coated dough balls on the lined baking sheet after lifting it out and tapping the fork gently on the bowl or pot to remove excess coating.
